me: what did you eat anna? u ate a piggy? 😲 u ate baboy?
anna: no, it's not the piggy. it's just baboy? hmm it's different. it's delicious.
me: okay..
(anna exits room)
(comes back a short while later, probably just wanting to make sure)
anna: mama, what is the food called?
me: it's called paksiw anna.
anna: oh, so i guess it's the chicken with lots of meat?
me: .....
me: (change topic) i think it's time for your bath, baby. it's after noon na.
saw ate cas by the door with a big wide smile.
i was about to panic so i signalled her to just keep quiet.
she raised her eyebrows over and over in agreement.
i guess "the saga of anna's piggy" is over. and nobody turned vegan.
i just hope she doesn't remember to check her grandparents' place to look for the piggy anymore.
sometimes, we don't really need to tell them everything 😅

PS. then ison calls me on the phone to tell me to come out na of the room kay LAMI daw kaau ang lechon. i can't help but laugh. unsaon nako pagbiya sa gamay hahaha
according to ison, anna didn't react at all when she saw him arrive. as soon as he opened the package and she saw what it was, she turned around and headed to the room na daw. i guess that was the time they started dividing it, too LOL

anna: hmm tomorrow can i play with your game when you're done with work? i hope it's not so late then. but yeah i like your job. when i grow up it's fine to have your job. it's a good job i'm just saying that it takes so much time... why does it take until nighttime? when i grow up, i want to go home early and finish my job early so i can play with my cellphone the rest of the day.
